Third Thursday Environmental Film Series: A Sense of Wonder

Using many of Rachel Carson’s own words, this documentary-style film is an intimate and poignant reflection on her life and accomplishments. Struggling with cancer in the last year of her life, Carson recounts with both humor and anger the attacks by the chemical industry, government and press because of her groundbreaking work to document the dangers of DDT.
